Dapoxetine+sildenafil is used in the treatment of premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction in adult men. Premature ejaculation is when a man ejaculates (orgasms) more quickly with less sexual stimulation than the man or his partner would like. This could lead to problems in a sexual relationship. Erectile dysfunction is the inability to keep a hard and erect penis suitable for sexual activity.
Dapoxetine+sildenafil contains Dapoxetine and Sildenafil. Dapoxetine is a short-acting selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that increases the serotonin levels in the brain, thereby increasing the time to ejaculate and improving the control over ejaculation. Sildenafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor and works by relaxing the blood vessels. It can improve blood flow to the penis and helps to get an erection when sexually stimulated.
You should use this medicine exactly as prescribed by the doctor. The common side-effects of Dapoxetine+sildenafil are dizziness, headache, nausea (feeling sick), stuffy nose, facial flushing (reddening of the face), indigestion, dry mouth, and vision problems such as light sensitivity or blurred vision. These side effects usually resolve without requiring medical attention. However, if any of these side effects persist or get worse, inform your doctor immediately.
It is not recommended to take Dapoxetine+sildenafil if you are allergic to any contents of it. Do not take Dapoxetine+sildenafil if you have severe heart or liver problems, a recent history of heart attack or stroke, hypotension (low blood pressure), eye diseases or vision problems, a history of fainting, and mania or depression. Inform your doctor if you are taking medicines such as nitrates (to treat blood pressure or chest pain), antidepressants, antibiotics, or painkillers. Dapoxetine+sildenafil should not be taken by children and women. It should be used with caution in the elderly. Do not take excessive amounts of alcohol while using Dapoxetine+sildenafil as it may impair the ability of erection and increase the risk of side effects. Dapoxetine+sildenafil may cause dizziness and affect vision, so do not drive or operate heavy machinery if you are not fully alert.

Duralast 30mg tablet contains an active component as Dapoxetine. It is primarily used to treat premature ejaculation (PE) in men. Premature ejaculation is a common sexual health condition characterized by the inability to delay ejaculation during sexual activity, leading to distress and dissatisfaction for both the individual and their partner. Duralast 30mg tablet helps improve ejaculatory control and prolongs the time to ejaculation, allowing men to have more satisfying and prolonged sexual experiences.
Duralast 30mg tablet is contraindicated in individuals with a known hypersensitivity to the drug or its components, severe liver and kidney impairment, and those using monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or other SSRIs. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of mania or bipolar disorder, certain cardiovascular disorders, and epilepsy due to potential adverse effects and interactions.
This medication is not recommended for use in pediatric populations (individuals under 18) as its safety and efficacy in this age group have not been established through clinical trials. It is generally not advised for use in elderly individuals due to potential differences in efficacy, metabolism, and increased risk of side effects.
Readers' sensitivity unknown1. Introduction
Premature ejaculation (PE), affecting almost 30% of men worldwide, poses a significant challenge to sexual health. Duralast 30mg tablet is an active ingredient that is primarily used for the treatment of PE in men. This medication offers effective solutions for premature ejaculation management. Duralast 30mg tablet combines the pharmacological benefits of Dapoxetine with the safety and efficacy of other SSRIs, including serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs), monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors (MAOIs), and others. The main active component, Dapoxetine, is a type of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that works by increasing the levels of a neurotransmitter called serotonin in the brain. It works by affecting the serotonin transporter, increasing the level of serotonin in the synaptic cleft, and facilitating the entry of new messages from the brain to the post synaptic cleft. Duralast 30mg tablet has been demonstrated to improve ejaculatory control in men with premature ejaculation, with a reported positive effect on sexual satisfaction and orgasmic function. However, the safety and efficacy of Duralast 30mg tablet in this population have not been established through clinical trials.
Therefore, the aim of this study was to assess the safety and efficacy of Duralast 30mg tablet in the treatment of premature ejaculation in men.
This open-label, single-center, single-dose, dose-finding study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. The study was registered in the Chinese Clinical Trial Register (TCRN) with CRDvertising.gov/HT/CTRN. The Ethics Committee for Ethics of Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University approved this study (No.2018-095). All participants gave written informed consent.
Adult male patients aged 18–60 years with an age of at least 12 years and an ejaculatory latency time ( latency time (ELT) time) of more than 4 hours.
Patients with premature ejaculation lasting longer than 4 hours and history of mania or bipolar disorder were excluded from the study. Patients undergoing medical therapy for PE or premature ejaculation (e.g., antidepressant treatment, antidepressant medication, SSRI medication) were also excluded from the study. Additionally, patients with a history of seizures, hepatic dysfunction, diabetes, heart disease, history of stroke, liver dysfunction, and myocardial infarction were also excluded from the study.
Patients with a history of penile deformities or those with a history of premature ejaculation were also excluded from the study. Patients with a history of prostate cancer or benign prostatic hyperplasia were also excluded from the study.
Patients with a history of severe hepatic, cardiac, or renal impairment, severe liver, or cardiac enzyme elevations, and those with the presence of a history of suicide attempts, suicidal ideation or mood disorders were also excluded from the study.
Patients with a history of hepatic or renal dysfunction were also excluded from the study.
The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Wenzhou Medical University (no.2018-095). Informed consent was obtained from each patient.
Priligy (dapoxetine) is the first and only prescription medicine licensed to treat Premature Ejaculation (PE). It is from a class of drugs called Selective Serotonin Uptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) and can help delay ejaculation and increase control. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter in the central nervous system that plays a role in transmitting messages between nerve cells. Including those that result in ejaculation. By increasing the availability of serotonin between nerve cells the time taken to ejaculate is increased and control over ejaculation is improve.
One Priligy tablet should be taken between 1-3 hours of having sex.
The recommended starting dose of Priligy is 30mg no more than once in a 24-hour period.
If the 30mg dose is not effective for you your doctor may increase your dose to 60mg.
The tablet can be taken with or without food and should be swallowed whole with water.

Drug-Induced Dapoxetine Reactions
Dapoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) used primarily to treat premature ejaculation (PE) and post-ejaculation depression. Its mechanism of action involves inhibiting serotonin reuptake and increasing serotonin levels in the brain. This increased serotonin is thought to contribute to its long-lasting effects.
Dapoxetine is approved for the treatment of premature ejaculation, PE, and premature insomnia. Its side effects are generally mild and transient, resolving upon discontinuation of treatment. However, in some cases, serious adverse events such as serotonin syndrome can occur. It is worth noting that serious adverse events include serotonin syndrome, which is a potentially life-threatening condition that can result in serotonin syndrome and death. It is crucial to be aware of the potential risks associated with this medication and to inform your healthcare provider about all the medications you are currently taking.
Dapoxetine is a new drug that is intended to be an antidepressant but the evidence shows that it is not effective for treating premature ejaculation.
The drug is in a class of medicines called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). The SSRI is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) which increases the amount of serotonin in your body. It works by increasing the level of serotonin in your brain. In men, the amount of serotonin in the brain is increased by about 3 percent, and this amount is necessary to maintain the normal functioning of the body. In women, the amount of serotonin in the brain is increased by about 2 percent, and this amount is necessary to maintain the normal functioning of the body.
